A note creator page and a Hatena Blog both embed a pointer inside the page saying where their feed lives.

So pasting the URL of the page where posts are listed is enough — there is no need to look up the RSS URL. If the feed location changes later, pasting the page URL again picks up the new one.

When several candidates appear

Some sites publish a feed for everything plus per-category feeds, or offer RSS and Atom side by side. In that case the candidates are listed.

If you are unsure, take the site-wide feed. You can switch to another one later.
