About this service
A cloud RSS reader that is free to use and funded by ads, including features that usually come with a paid plan. There are no plans to introduce a paid tier for now.
When a service has a paid tier, how far its free tier can go is a question of balance with that tier. This service has no paid tier, so there is no such balance to strike, and nothing is held back for a tier that does not exist.
About the ads
The reader shows a single ad slot, at the top, so that as much of the screen as possible stays with your articles. Pages you can read without signing in, such as the directory and the guides, carry no ads.
Ads are the only revenue, and they are the reason this can be free. The number of slots will not grow beyond what running the service requires.

Contact
With one person running things, individual replies cannot be promised. Even so, there is a place to send feedback and bug reports. No reply is sent, but everything that arrives is read.
Feed fetch errors are shown in the reader and on public feed pages, so please check there first. Removal from listings is processed automatically after verifying domain ownership, so please use the crawler page for that.
Taking your data with you
You can download your subscriptions as OPML plus a JSON export including read state, stars, tags and categories, at any time. The format is documented.
Moving on to FreshRSS or Inoreader is something the design accounts for. If this service is not a fit, your data should always be easy to take with you.

About AI
Like search engines, we accept crawlers used for AI search and AI answers. Crawlers used to train AI models are also permitted to use the text and data this site created itself. That permission does not extend to content from other sites, such as feed names or article titles.
There are two entry points for AI assistants to use this service (MCP). The one that does not require signing in lets an AI search feeds, browse the directory, read the guides, and check the contents of an OPML file. The one used while signed in lets you, within a scope you choose to allow, handle your subscriptions and how you organize them (folders, rules, saved searches, keyword watches, tags, and the read-later list). Neither entry point returns article text or the list of articles from the feeds you subscribe to. You can revoke access at any time from "Connected AI apps" in settings.
In the reader, the AI feature built into your browser (WebMCP) can work with your subscriptions and how you organize them within the same scope. Actions that cannot be undone — such as removing a subscription or deleting something — are always confirmed in the reader screen at the time.
Guidance for AI is collected at /llms.txt. This is unrelated to the separate service of the same name (freefeed.net).
