Moving from Inoreader
Inoreader’s free plan caps you at 150 feeds, and Pro runs around $75–100 a year. Here is what is the same and what is different, feature by feature.

When this is a good fit
You have hit the 150-feed ceiling but do not want to pay a yearly subscription for it. That is the case this fits best: 1,000 feeds free, with rules, filters and full-text search included.
It also fits if you already pay for Pro mainly to get rules and filters — the same capability is here at no cost.
When it is not
If you drive your own tooling through the article API, you cannot move. This service does not expose one.
If you subscribe to more than 2,500 feeds, you will hit the ceiling here too.
The service is not available from the EU, EEA or the UK.
About read state
OPML carries only your subscription list, so read state does not transfer. That is a limitation of the format, not of the destination.
Everything shows as unread right after importing. The quickest fix is to mark all as read once and start from there.
How to move
- In Inoreader, open Preferences → Import/Export → Export subscriptions and download the OPML
- Inspect the OPML to see duplicates and dead feeds before importing
- Create an account and import the OPML from Settings → Feeds
- On the confirmation screen, leave duplicates and stopped feeds unchecked (they are unchecked by default)
FAQ
- Can I keep my Inoreader account?
- Yes. Exporting OPML only makes a copy; nothing changes on the original account. Run both for a while and decide afterwards.
- Do my folders carry over?
- Yes. Folder structure is stored in the OPML and is preserved on import.
- Can I bring my starred articles?
- No. OPML contains only the subscription list. Bookmark anything you need, or export it from Inoreader separately, before you switch.
